Marc wrote and said they are starting the pool exercises soon. Please continue to keep him in your prayers! He also mentioned something about muscles - surely he was talking about someone else. Can you imagine Marc with muscles? :-)
The Cola Dolders had a visit from Karie this weekend and enjoyed a good meal at our fave neighborhood pub. Brian and Valerie enjoyed the first game at the new SC Gamecocks baseball stadium also this weekend.
Six weeks until the Cooper - get your walking/running shoes on and get moving!

Good luck Marco! I hereby challenge you to an arm wrestling match next time we get together.
ReplyDeleteMarc has passed the swim evaluations. Initial drill is next up. He said his people always mess that up, so they always end up paying in pain and he emphasizes the pain. Wish them all luck. He says there are 3 phases and the first phase is almost over.
ReplyDeleteJenny, I have been instructed to tell you that Marc is to be referred to on this blog as "The defender of Dolder's" or something equally as catchy.
I don't ever want to pay anything in pain!!!!
ReplyDeleteGlad he is doing well!!
I got a sad letter from Marc yesterday. Everyone should send him some words of encouragement. He is feeling a little down and unmotivated. They told him he needed to lose the final 10 pounds in the next two weeks or his graduation would be delayed.
ReplyDeleteHe said the gas chamber was coming up and he wasn't afraid of that, but he was a little worried about the scrappling wall. Gas won't kill him but a 50 ft drop would.
Phase 2 is starting (not really sure what that entails.) He won't give me any details because some kid's mom called and complained about the treatment and now that kid is not doing so well, so mum's the word.
